Should we really be forced to respect ALL religions? I mean, Mohammed was a pedophile by his own admission. According to the Qu'ran he married and repeatedly fucked a 6 year old girl - explain to me why I should respect that, or respect any followers of that religion?
I'm not a Christian, but at least Jesus wasn't banging 6 year-olds. You fuckers are sick for respecting that religion.
course in all fairness if you weren't married and child bearing by 12 you were probably never going to be given the average life span. Though unfortunately for the 6 year old the womb probably got damaged beyound repair, the koran ever mention that wife having kids? (now I've heard of some girls hitting puberty by 8 or so, but 6 seems way too unlikely)

Actually, he married her at 6, consummated it at 9.
um.... "he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old", he didn't start fucking her til she was 9, which means waited til she was child bearing. I never really commented on the mosque. I don't care about it too much. If it's their right then go for it. But I'd just love if more people knew what Islam actually is and stop being apologists for it. And like any violent, barbaric tradition (like apartheid) we should continually fight against it etc.
They can have their mosque, but we can have our 24/7 protests outside of the thing so they can barely even get into their fucking mosque. We can quote violent Islamic texts with a megaphone outside the thing so they can barely carry on any type of worship.
And more than anything we can quit being such politically correct retards that we would insist on them having rights but take away our own (like drawing mohammed, or criticising their bullshit traditions, etc.).

Can you point to me some instances of 9 year-olds having kids? That is pre-pubescent and as such pedophilia. I'm not going to argue about 14 year old girls since that could be a cultural thing and once a girl is child-bearing etc - that's not pedophilia, but a 9 year-old? That's fucking sick, and there is no way to justify it, or anyone that believes in it.
I think it would be awesome if they put a gay bar next to the mosque if it's built. Although something tells me muslims would say how "insensitive" that is and there would be protests demanding that their religion be respected.

Well lets consider the average lifespan back then was around 30-35 , if the woman/girl in almost any culture wasn't already having kids by 12-13 they weren't exactly considered able to do so. Also your understanding of biology is flawed, some girls have hit puberty as young as 8, there's not a definite number that all hit puberty at the same time. I'm not exactly defending it but saying that it wasn't exactly that far outside the norm as opposed to today's society. Thanks for the link I guess. Doesn't change the fact that fucking a 9 year-old is sick and to be sexually attracted to a 9 year-old is pedophilia. I can't wrap my head around it enough to justify this one so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Pedophilia only applies to an 'unnatural' attraction to pre-peubescent children, to which the link I provided is just one proof (aside from your usual sex education textbook) that its possible for some girls as young as 7 or 8 to have hit puberty. But the term is used regardless on anyone who rapes, molests, etc a child of 15 or less. I guess I just take the 'terminology' a bit too literal in the argument, but like how christians have adjusted their teachings to today's society, I'd imagine other religions would have to as well, otherwise WWJD and other phrases like that might lead to some very odd results if you were to take the context too literal.
Btw seems the "Mohammed is a pedophile" bit was a bit of a red herring when it boils down to the protests against the mosque being built.
