Before typing out details, I want to see if any of you would be interested in this. If so, I'll piss away my afternoon getting the details together and tossing up a quickie site for this.
The gist:
- My buddy owns this building: Previously Sprint Data Center-Secure Offsite Document Warehouse Vacant 23,000sf building.
- It's listed @ $1.5 million ($65-ish per square foot - not counting the smaller buildings on site)
- I asked if he was open to paying out a referral fee for the lead that eventually turns into a sale. He obviously said "yes".
How would clicks, leads, etc be tracked? However you want. I'd simply collect leads from you and post them on a quickie website - kinda like a scoreboard. If a lead of yours turns into a sale, you get the $50k.
What's in it for me? I'm partnered up with this guy on a number of brick and mortar businesses that would get a nice influx of cash if that building sells. So, I don't need to directly make anything on this deal.
Why bring this to WickedFire?
a) Could prove to be a fun case study
b) You guys can spin this thing anyway you like. Market it as a shelter of last resort, space to be retrofitted into a private prison (not sure if that would fly zoning-wise), etc... The broker is marketing it as "an excellent candidate for offsite document storage" but I'm sure you guys can dream up other stuff.
Interested?
