I see some of you asking questions to these new providers, which is great we need to see what they trying to push it is really pretty easy to nail a fucker that is just offering something and has no clue.

And without all the beggers jumping in right off the bat it gives us time to check them out.

If they are a good provider they will have good communication, and offer a free review to a #1 MOD #2 Trusted Member.

I have caught someone that keeps posting in this thread doing a bogus review on a shitty service and you know who you are, if you don't know what your talking about it is much better to not speak on it or your going to get called out, and it will not be pretty.

If your doing reviews, you should invest in scrapebox and some private proxy's to check all the links and not just be clicking on a few and saying it all good. And report back all the factors of the work, was the content good, are the links worth a shit, are the links all on the same ip.. Was it automated or done by hand... this could be a big list might take time later to finish or pitch in with our thoughts as well.

And if your doing reviews and posting back bogus claims because you dont know what your talking about, I think no matter who you are you should get a perma bann.

There are many factors to consider when doing reviews, and newbs have no fucking clue what to look for or report back about. And I see so many douche bags claiming to be SEO experts and they just fucking beginners wanting attention or something, it is easy to rip them new assholes as well.
 
A couple of thoughts about reviews:

I've noticed a few more vendors are requiring reviewers to have positive rep, some forum history, and a few itraders. It's happening in their opening posts.

This is wonderful. It's an example of the community taking the reins. No rules necessary, but all participants working toward their own long-term self-interest - and that means building the community at large. If the forum becomes a cesspool, nobody wins.

It will happen slowly at first. More slowly than many of us would like. But it'll gain momentum as each of us continues to communicate with vendors and reviewers, informing them when they cross the line. We're gonna see some vendors rise to the top of the heap based on serving this community well. That is as it should be. We're also gonna see a bunch burn themselves down because they keep thumbing their noses at this community. Again, good.

We'll look back a year down the road, and be glad we put in the effort.

Something to keep in mind: we're all gonna feel different about what is acceptable and what is not around here. This is fine. There's little need for homogeneity. As long as we're reaching out to folks, and giving them a reason to serve the community, we'll all benefit.

One last note to new vendors...

If you're watching your thread fall into oblivion, here's an idea: put a link to your thread in your sig, and get involved in the other forums, like Shooting The Shit, Newbie Questions, etc. BlueYonder (and her flaming panties) does this well, even though she's probably not even trying. She gets involved with the community. People like her and hire her. Then, when she delivers, they go into her thread and tell others about their experience working with her. She builds street cred. That's a good system. It works around here.

Yeah. I didn't notice that person, but there's nothing worse than a reviewer that doesn't do any effort on his/her part when it comes to giving the review. If they say "clicked on about 20 links and they were there," What the hell does that tell us?! Well I guess out of those 10k Xrumer profile links at least we know we'll get 20. And if you're too cheap to buy ScrapeBox then you shouldn't be asking for handouts here. You want that $40 handout? Pay the goddamned $57 and get ScrapeBox. It's just that simple.

Now there are excuses for not using ScrapeBox. If the service provider doesn't give you a report or if the report they give you is in a goddamned HTML document with a fucking number before each URL, you obviously can't just throw that into SB and check the links. That happened to me once and I was forced to give a practically useless review because the seller couldn't give me a report in .txt format as he had already deleted it. But all the links did eventually show up and I reported back my results after a few weeks had passed. As a reviewer you have a RESPONSIBILITY to give as much information as you can, whether it be good or bad.

I've had a couple programs do this to me by default (not Scrapebox) when giving a report. You can hold down the CTRL key and select columns of data in your browser, then just paste that into Notepad.

Unfortunately that only works with the HTML Table element and the links I received were just like:

1. http://link.com
BR
2. http://link.com
BR
3. http://link.com
etc.

Because of this, the CTRL select didn't work. He claimed to be using Xrumer, but that report sucked balls and I told him so. He just told me tough shit and to live with it. Let's just say I wasn't too happy.

Vendors should not be posting in other vendors' threads because if you make a mistake in identifying a troll, you will get yourself banned instead for thread crapping.

Better to leave this stuff to the mods and buyers.
