Islam is just as scary as any other religion. It's the mentality and culture of people from the middle east (including iraqi christians and kurdish yazidis) combined with religion which makes the vast majority of them fucked up. Some more than others. Which is a good reason to not let anyone from that area into Europe or North America.
Funny that before 9/11 only bout 10% of americans thought the religion of Islam to be a violent one (despite having middle east conflicts and such between the jews and muslims at the time even since the 60s and older depending on the chain of events you wish to follow)
I guess a bit of emotional imagery, the initial shock and few years of negative propaganda will change that statistic, just because one terrorist group did something in the "name of islam"

Where did you get your 10% number? I'd like to see what you are using for a source.
oh and yeah
Before Sept. 11th most Americans didn't even know what Islam was. My high-school geography teacher didn't know that Muslims were followers of Islam.
Ok your high-school geography teach was an idiot. Still doesn't equate to only 10% of Americans knowing what Islam / Muslims are.
