Simple question. How do you manage which networks owe you money and how do you keep track of it? Simple Excel sheet or a full blown Quickbooks database. I've been using an Excel sheet but it's not as efficient as I'd like. I need the ability to send out invoices and remind networks when they're past due. Any suggestions?

lol excel quickbooks holy shit bro. i would think if you're really doing a lot of business with different networks a simple excel spreadsheet would do the trick..but im with 7radu. i just remember that shit. and when the payments come in i double check its the right amount.

Well it gets hard to remember when 30+ networks owe you money from 2 months ago and which ones are net30 and net15. Simple excel is pretty cumbersome because some are on weeklies, etc. I'm hiring an accountant, but I need to set up what has happened in the past before I can let them continue.

i use excel to keep score. then eventually i remember to make sure my bank balance should line up to what my excel says. then i go hunt for monies

This is the worst newbie question I saw this weekend. Remember it, if not write it down in an excel spreadsheet, notepad or in a piece of paper whatever you can effort. Damn...!!

Far from a newbie man, so not sure what you're trying to say. I've been using an Excel sheet for months but am considering just switching over to Quickbooks b/c it seems like its more efficient when sending out invoices and recoridng payments. Don't know why you have to be such a dick either.

I have a brain that stores it all.

Cool story man.. Must only be working with a few networks. I work with a lot and its pretty tough to store 37 networks and what they have paid you and what they owe every month.

I let my accounting department handle these issues. Any issues with non-payment is forwarded to the guys at protection.ppc.bz. Its really a good deal they offer(well once you pay the initial fee). They get you back 100% of what you owed once you're a member. They also tact on a small interest payment to the affiliate company and they pocket that.

edit: oh it seems like this 100% is only for the first few members.

Quickbooks seriously will make your life eaiser.

+1 for quickbooks or any other accounting software.

Just put them in as invoices....you can even go so far as add all the offers as line items.

It must be trying to someone with such a superior intellect to bother with us inferior dullards. Of course I can't begin to imagine your frustration as I don't have the mental capacity. Even with this obvious IQ deficit it is still possible for someone as unworthy as myself to praise you. Thank you for your gift of presence sir. Thank you for your insight on matters of accounting when it is clearly beneath you. Let a monument be erected in your honor so that the wisdom of your words . . .
"write it down in an excel spreadsheet, notepad or in a piece of paper whatever you can effort"
will forever be blazed on the minds of affiliates everywhere. The wisdom that regurgitates from your mind like the bowel movement from Vishnu is overwhelming to us mere mortals. Thank you kind sir for your charity.

+1 4 Quickbooks.
