HP Laptop goes nuclear

Lithium Batteries are dangerous. Unfortunately they are the best for power, weight, and recharging.

I am really surprised they dont blow up more often.

hp laptops are the biggest pieces of shit ever

lol.. I used an HP Envy for one day. Sold off next day..

There was a 13" HP I envied in 2005-06ish though. Forgot the Model.
I have this thing for small screen.

My favorite was a Good old Toshiba Portege r 150 where I started IM.
I paid a ton for it, but it paid Back exponentially. I still kept it as an Antique. It was a masterpiece. Toshiba never made anything comparable.

Then I fall in love with Mac

Consumer series, absolutely.

But EliteBooks are the shizzle. Typing this on a 8540w and lovin' it.

Got the HP Elitebook 8440p and it is sexy (brushed aluminum). It is my second hp business class notebook so I might be bias. Definitely more solid and looks better than thinkpad. I had few problems with my old hp notebook and hp would send me a shipping box the next day and it would get back to me in 2-3 days. Awesome warranty service.

Exploding batteries happened to almost every manufacturer. Search dell and sony exploding battery.

My brother's Gateway caught fire once. However, the kid works at Chic Fil A and the pants they wear *were* flame retardant. He didn't change his pants after coming home from work. He keeps saying how Chic Fil A saved his life that day...

Gateway sucks worse than HP.
