Wow. From its good roots in a more fiscally conservative "leave social issues behind" package, to Christine O'Donnell.

I live in Delaware.

She beat out Castle who has actually done good things for Delaware in congress. He was a moderate republican and usually made sense when he talked.... and while not perfect his voting record pretty much reflects the attitude of the state.


He was always out in the community too.

For whatever reason he decides to run for senate this year.

That's around 3500 votes that made her the winner in the primary. She of course took the two smaller counties in Delaware (rural). So if she wins the election (I have doubts she can take Coons even with the back lash against the democratic party at the moment) we won't have an experienced moderate - we will have this whacko on our hands.

Suppose as long as she follows the constitution we won't have to have a rebellion - because that's the only part of her platform a lot of us here can agree with.
 
Sure, she may have some 'unorthodox' viewpoints but at least she exposed the crazy, if not insane genetic cloning of human brains into mice heads.

This has got to stop and she may be just the woman for the job.

But we really ARE NOT that dumb... at least most of the people I know here and since the states not that big I know people all over.

The bottom county is pretty rural, but it's balanced out by the beach towns....

I will say that I didn't pay to much attention since I'm not a registered republican, but beyond her financial mess I didn't hear about all the crazy shit until after she won the primary.

Doesn't matter - don't sling berries here and maybe Coons will win ( a moderate dem at least ).

We won't have any decent independent candidates regardless.... so those of us with brains push for any moderate of any party here. That's why Castle and Biden did so well here for so long.

What they, and the vast majority of the brainwashed goons on here don't understand, is that the sum of those beliefs affects people less than if the Communist Coons wins and jacks up both spending and taxes.

THAT would affect people more than whether she believes in fossils, mice experiments, or the Middle Earth role of women. And THAT'S why she could possibly win.

But you're mostly idiots, which is why you don't realize that.
