autoblogs ok?

whats the deal with the pricing, is it not $2.50 any more? can only see $5.50 for unlimited
 
While I've had worse experiences in the past, my 2 months with Hostwinds was truley awful.

I moved a small low (very low) traffic site, with an hourly cron job with grabbed a few RSS feeds (i.e. an autoblog) over to hostwinds to try them out.

Well I'm glad I moved a small site, after 6 weeks I get an email about problems with the serrver, being moved etc. Next thing I know my site has violated TOS for using too many resources and has been suspended. Only when I pay to upgrade to business will he let the site resume.

Of course, when I ask for my money back under their "60 day guaruntee", I get told I wont get a refund as I violated TOS. I did expect this kind of response, it further backs up my kind of experience I predicted if I had chose to stick with them.

Oh and seperately, I decided to lightly promote hostwinds under their affiliate program. He doesnt know if he operates NET30 or NET60, and from the looks of it their recurring commissions are complete BS.

Terrible experience, avoid at all costs.

We actually refunded your transaction, but now that I am seeing this I am having second thoughts as you weren't entitled to the refund at all

We operate on a NET60 platform I dont know who you spoke to that doesnt know this, but is pretty standard
 
I speak with thousands of clients every week, you cnat possibly expect me to remember them all

and its 60 days for most clients, some of our clients who are doing hundreds of dollars a month are on a NET30 platform

Sorry for the confusion it may have caused you
 
Thanks, yeah I believe its working so far. So far, great service. Sorry to see of the negative views above. I'll be sure to post how things progress within the next 15-45 days. But good site, navigation, easy to use. Looks legit.
