I saw a offer of this guy selling CN/COM.CN domains for $.30 each..so a 100 new domain = $30 ..do i see new spam sites being .cn rather than .info? :D

wonder what price they'll renew at, like i just noticed these cheap 99 cent info domains, renew at godaddy for $10!

This guy's actually making money off this deal because I have a source where I can get .cn domains for $0.15. He's doubling that by selling at $0.3 - smart guy. CN domains may become the spam of the future, but if you knew chinese they'd also be a great target market. Sadly, I have no Mandarin skills to speak of. :D

Good morning, I'm Chinese,. CN's very cheap!

I do not know grammatical mistakes yet? My English is not very good!

He posted a couple of threads like: http://www.wickedfire.com/sell-buy-trade/11841-true-0-3usd-regist-cn-com-cn-name.html

He's been banned though, I'm guessing not because of his poor English (shit loads better than my Mandarin!). So possibly a scam - he seems to want the domains registered to him and his address in China... hmmm.

I'd be interested in cheap .cn domains if it's genuine.

Can I get tiananmensquaremassacre.cn? (I doubt it!!) :D

One thing worth bearing in mind is with most Asian languages there is often more than one way of spelling words with the Roman (western) alphabet. Not really a problem for most uses of cheap domains though!

are you shitting me?

EDIT: Oh fuck. You aren't....does anyone know a registrar with cheap registrations AND renewals for .info domains?

I can't be fucked to find it, but another thread here quotes the GoDaddy terms that say the renewals are at the same price - 99c for .infos.

EDIT: just realised it was someone sensible that said about GoDaddy.... maybe it's changed - hope that doesn't affect domains registered before.

Well I clicked "renew now" on one of my .info domains, and after clicking through the 10 pages of advertising, once I finally got to my cart it said $9.99... :|

I also just called them and they said it'd be $9.99.

FUCK!

jon said something in one of those threads about him whoring thousands on .infos and i think if you read the fine print, you'll see what i'm talking about. also try to register a .info for 2 years and you'll see it's $11.

They can lick my balls...anyone know of another registrar with cheap .infos ($1-2) that renew for the same price?

EDIT: I found tierra.net for $0.88 each but they don't seem too reputable.
