No, not London.... London is not the whole fuckin country... actually London is pretty different to the rest of the country... please don't judge us all on Londoners! (sure it's prob the same in your country!)
well most ppl know england by london but USA is a bit different as most people know atleast NY, LA, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami.
london is freaking expensive as hell.. and so is most of europe..

London represents England as much as any one of those cities you mention represent the whole of the States. In fact there's probably more in common between say London and New York than between a big city and small town/village in either country.
It pisses me off when people say they've been to Britain... and they've only seen London... you can't base your opinions of any country just on one big city.

yeah i know what you mean...next time i come God Willing I will tour more of England and individual countries..right now im spending 1-2 days max in each countries.

to me NYC is and will always be the best city.. i didnt have too much fun in london..maybe because i dont have zillions of dollars to spend.. i guess its good if you are a sightseer or something.. i mean how can you be one of the biggest city in the world yet your subway runs only until midnight or so? and funny thing is i think i saw more americans in london than i see in nyc

Despite that, London freaking rocks! As an American I enjoyed London more than NYC, DC, et al. erherm, sorry to hijack the thread
Get out the cities!! See the little places, you'll experience a lot more - that's what I tried to do in Asia last year... ok, so the little places happened to have great beaches... but still.. Koh Phi Phi is loads better than Bangkok (for anyone that's been or is going to Thailand!)
yeah i wanted to go to little cities.. iwanted to rent a car but its way too expensive... my dads in the hospital so i have to hurry back home and i didnt bring much money.
