Huffington Post contributor Beau Friedlander published a post to that site this morning offering $100,000 to anyone who could produce a sex tape of Glenn Beck

Huffington Post and the Would-Be Glenn Beck Sex Tape | The New York Observer
It is time to pop the tea baggers’ favorite balloon (so what if it will be replaced by another?), and with that in mind I hereby offer to negotiate a $100,000 payday to the person who will come forward with a sex tape or phone records or anything else that succeeds in removing Glenn Beck from the public eye forever. I am not offering the cash myself, but I will broker the deal and/or raise the money for what you bring to the table. (And it better be good.)
(The writer was also accused of "trolling for a hitman" to take out Beck.)

Easy cash for DPers.

Glenn is an out of control Alcoholic... his day will come. I am not left or right or what the fuck ever.. but he is a fear mongering douche bag.

Seems like a pretty low ball offer (not to mentioned demanding for a dude who doesn't even have the money himself)... you could get 500K from someone else if you had a tape. Probably more I would guess.

"and it better be good" please brotha

First, its not like even if Glenn Beck went off the air tomorrow that there wouldnt be someone to fill the void.

But more importantly, why is it so hard to ignore someone if you dont like what their saying? Is he doing any real damage thats actually causing harm to anyone? (So he backed up the metro rail in DC, Garth Brooks kinda did the same thing in NYC)

Freedom of speech is a two way street. Like to see how far a right winger would get publishing something like this looking for a sex tape of Nancy Pelosi. (sorry for the visual, but its not like you werent already flaccid before reading this post anyways)

That is the lamest thing I have heard all month. If you're going to be a badass and call a "media hit" on someone, you better have the money. I hope this guy's fellow journalists stop talking to him after this.

I dont even think this would even work, it may even backfire. Unless it was an R-Kelly style thing I seriously cant see it putting Glenn Beck off the air.

I know its apples to oranges but think about the sex tapes that have came out and how much impact they actually had on the people in them. Unless you teach somethng between elementary and high school, its usually just a PR boost. You also may not finish your American Idol season, but I doubt your never going to sing again. More people would find it amusing than offensive, and both situations are generally short term.

Why not skip the middle man and keep most of the profits? It's not like Hustler or Entertiamnet Tonight or somebody else wouldn't pork over at least half a mil on something like that.
