so that's a yes? nice. i might fuck around with it

Jokes aside, I personally moved away from the whole micro niche scene. Still works though, as I know quite a few people doing it on a pretty large scale.

Personally, I've moved towards building larger sites, as I've found it easier to manage. I'd rather have 10 medium sized sites as oppose to 1000 small sites. I don't know how the fuck I would manage 1000 sites.

quite honestly ive been managing one large site and it's nearly too much. unless there was some shit-blog-factory bot out there that not only found niches but created sloppy little one pagers that ranked (ripped articles and spun them) then there's no way i'd be able to do 200+ sites.

I'm spending sometimes 12 hours a day on just one site, only consolation is that i'm getting paid well.

What are you doing that's taking so much of your time? I started one of my sites roughly 4 months ago and it's pretty much on autopilot at this point.

it's basically in the offline niche (import and export). most of the time is spent answering client emails, getting new suppliers, finding buyers, etc...

Makes sense, that stuff takes more time. I'm mainly into Adsense/lead gen.

Have you considered outsourcing that part of your business? I'm sure you could find someone to handle that for a couple dollars an hour. Or even a local college student looking for work (you'd obviously have to pay them a bit more).

Yeah definitely. In fact outsourcing the emails part is my next biggest priority. I'm still kind of new to the whole business and for the most part i used to do a lot of cpa and clickbank so I wanted to get everything perfected before stepping back.

Let's talk about autopilot for a minute here.
Are we talking RSS to posting, twitter to post.. some fandangled auto-scraper like YACG?

Is there some new method (or method I am unaware of) that is acceptable by Google's new algos that keep content fresh Tony?

Yeah, definitely would like to know what is the autopilot which works these days.

Sorry, my post wasn't completely clear. I'll clarify.. Obviously it's not autopilot in the sense that I NEVER update it. But I think it's as autopilot as you can get (aside form auto blogs, which are sh*t). My site has roughly 70 pages of content. As of now, I've slowed it down, and I add 1 article or so to the site, every week or two. I either outsource it, or sometimes write it myself.

.I would never in a million years have 4K micro sites, but maybe 100 or so is my goal. If I see a nice keyword with an EMD, my first thought is always going to buy that EMD,put up 5-10 pages of content and throw some links at it. Then leave it be for a month and see what's up. I makes money, more links, more content, it doesn't make money I either sell it or use for linkbuilding. Either way, I would not use more than 2-3 hours at a microsite before seeing if it was profitable. If I find a very profitable bigger nice, then I will make several EMD niche sites and one big site. Try to get quick wins from the one keyword sites and then use those sites to link back to my autority site. Once the domains come up for renewal, I just check if they made enough money or not and dump them if they didn't. Some niches may take 6-12 months for a decent profit. I am not going to sit around waiting for that and not build niche sites.
