Hey there,..

I have an AdSense account with $1800 in it which i need to move to my bank account. My bank is not in the area which supports their electric transfer so I need someone, preferebly from UK, to collect this money and wire it to my account. Your iTrader rank is at most important..

Profit: $100

Best regards,..

Don't adsense do direct deposit which all banks accept?

I could do it but I've never accepted a wire transfer before and I have low itrader.

But your iTrader is zero? And why doesn't your bank support electronic operations? What bank is it? Please explain one more time how this is not wire transfer fraud.

Violation of 18 U.S.C. §1343 means you'll spend the next 20 years in jail. Under Title 18, United States Code, Section 1014, it is a federal crime to commit fraud using a wire communication that travels in interstate or foreign commerce.

Hello crunchi,

I don't know where you are located (Las Vegas or UK, etc) but take a look at this Google Adsense blog post about withdrawing money from your account with Western Union Quick Cash.

hxxp://adsense.blogspot.com/2007/10/new-western-union-payment-method.html

Are you saying you cannot use this feature, and you need someone else to withdraw your account money to their own checking account?

yup, western union is easy enough and $1800 should not be beyond limit. I think the cap is $3000 in my area.

I can't use Western Union, since my country(Slovenia) is not supported. Checks are no good aswell. EFT does not work here either. But AdSense account was opened in UK under my company name which is now dissolved, but funds stayed at google account.

I figure I could do Western Union too if someone doesn't like Wire transfer. If EFT works in other countries than UK(account adress) you can do it too..

Take care

Simple solution for you crunchi. Get a mail box in the UK for your physical address. Pay for one or two months of service at a place like regus.com or similar. Update your mailing address in Google Adsense and request a check. When the check arrives to your prepaid mail box, just call the location and request they send the contents of your mail box to the address you specify in Slovenia. Once you get the check you can deposit it in person at your bank, or cash it, or do whatever with it.

Okay you've got our curiousity now. I'm not trying to give any insults, I just want to make sure I am understanding your request correctly. You said checks are no good. Electronic funds transfer is no good. Well how do you make deposits? Cash only or book entry?

I am not sure how Banka Slovenije works internally, but they have been a part of the international bank account number (IBAN) since 2003. Can you talk a little bit more about your specific bank and their policies. It seems a bit too restrictive.

The problem in the Slovenia is that checks are not very recognizable monetary solution. I once tried to get a checkbook so I can issue a check to someone in USA for one project and I couldn't. Broads at bank just gave me the stupid look and suggesteda a travelers check. The other time I asked them if they could cash me a check and they said it doesn't work. So since my bankers are so incompetent I prefer to use electronic services, which for some reason are the greatest with my bank.

So if anyone is interested, please PM

speaking of intra country banking, if I wanted to open a bank account in london (say to move currency to gbp or for local withrdawl when I'm there if i traveled there often) but I am a US citizen with no UK based residence, does anyone know how to go about doing that?

Guess your main issue with a local bank is getting the foreign money converted and accepted.

Money, Currency Exchange, Banks

Slovene Tolar (SIT) = 100 stotins. Notes are in denominations of SIT10,000, 5000, 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20 and 10. Coins are in denominations of SIT5, 2 and 1, and 50 stotins.

The Tolar is fully convertible within Slovenia, but visitors are advised to exchange surplus amounts to the currency of their choice before leaving Slovenia, as they are not generally exchangeable elsewhere.

Foreign currencies can be exchanged at banks, some hotels and camping grounds, most tourist agencies, supermarkets, petrol stations and exchange bureaux. Credit cards are accepted at upscale restaurants, shops and hotels, but elsewhere you must use cash. Only a few of Slovenia's ATMs are accessible to foreign account holders, but more and more are coming online. Credit card holders can get cash advances in tolars from some banks. To avoid additional exchange rate charges, travelers are advised to take travelers cheques in US Dollars or Pounds Sterling.

Exchange rate is not fixed and fluctuates within 1-2%. Scottish notes are not accepted.
