2 hours of sleep and a 14 hour day ahead...make me a playlist!

either you've soon my aim automatic music status too much, or you know some of the popular bands. might as well finish it off

311
bob marley
john brown's body
long beach dub allstars
matisyahu
mishka
passafire
rebelution
SOJA
soul majestic
steel pulse
sublime
toko tasi
tribal seeds

Sublime is my favorite band, I'll definitely check out some of these that I haven't heard of before.

You need to add:
Michael Franti & Spearhead
Long Beach Shortbus
The Ziggins

Also, totally different genre, but if you like Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone age - Them Crooked Vultures has been in my cd player for almost a month straight. It's ridiculously good.

....if I can... and I would not lie to you...

If you like Sublime, I really encourage you to explore more of their live/rare/unreleased stuff. You have to dig a bit, but some of the most incredible songs of theirs were never released.

Also, I have a badass video of them in concert, with the audio redubbed from a high quality recording of the same show, it's probably the best quality Sublime concert video in existence. Really sick.

If anybody wants it, tell me where to upload it and I'll post a link/instructions for it.

Stand By Your Van has a lot of great live stuff on it. I also have a bunch of bootlegs etc floating around somewhere.
