Hello friend,

That why it good idea to just steal page of landing like most and no waste money on page of landing unique.

No need content unique for pay per click. Only need content unique for optimization of page for search engine.

Good luck bro

Go to your aff network and bitch till they shut them down. This only works if the thief is on the same network.

If this doesn't work try contacting the merchant direct.

Second step get a lawyer to do a C&D.

Third DMCA the host.

Well if you're that butt hurt about it i assume the person that ripped your site has good taste in what to take. So find out what other sites they own and rip theirs. You both win.

Oh and my apologies if it was me. I've been jacking a lot of sites lately :)

It's a waste of time and money for people to try and enforce digital copyright on the web. I can't think of anything less profitable to do.

Well, my posts in Shooting the Shit might qualify, but this is the second most unproductive thing you can do.

Big deal. You get a lawyer. You find out the affiliate is out of country. What will you do then? What if the host is out of country too?

Move on. You can build some NickyCakes deathstar voodoo in, but people are still going to rip you off. Instead of trying to chase a 1 in 1,000 chance at some form of compensation besides satisfying your anger, why not do something that has a 90% chance of earning you a profit?

Our entire notion of intellectual copyright is so fucked up. It leads people to pursue unproductive ends, protecting what they think is the value they provide to make money, while ignoring the real value that makes them money.

No one ever got rich off a landing page. But they did get rich off a landing page by driving traffic to it. Get it?

While you are bitching and moaning, that douchebag is making monies online. While you are spending money on a lawyer, he is making monies online. While you are posting on WF, he is making monies online.

Shame you didn't focus on making monies online.

LOL. Oh Arnold.
It must suck but that's not the end of the world.
Please steal a lot of shit these days.
How can you protect it ? Well ... What exactly did they steal ? Can we see ?
Post some screen shots. :P

If they stole some graphics well there is just nothing much you can do at this point but to make yours better, keep adding, stay on top.

1. do nothing for now
2. build another kick arse landing page he will want to rip but this time sneakly insert your name or landing page url into the exif data in the image (since he copies it lock stock and barrel).
3. Wait til he rips then
a. send a take down notice with the image url and data to confirm its scrapped
b. Sue and make monies

Here's a happy LP story for ya. I was promoting a particular niche for months and decided I'd rebuild my LP from what I learned. So I spent the whole weekend putting a page together, doing my graphics, cutting HTML, yadayada.

Anyway - set it up to run starting Sunday. By Monday afternoon someone had already ripped it exactly. They then proceeded to make a few tweaks here and there. Nothing crazy, just some LP copy changes.

So I decided I'd steal his changes on my page and split test it with my original. Wouldn't ya know it, it made even more $$$. So in the end, I was glad the page was stolen. My conversions went up and I had a little bit of feel-good that someone felt my page was decent enough to steal.

How about this.. you're in an industry that is based around the concept of 'get rich quick'.... people copying your ads, websites, copy, etc.. is part of the norm. get use to it. The second you release anything unique, it is no longer unique.

Just because you feel like you aren't getting 'what you paid for' and have become 'furious' over this matter shows how new your are.. its ok, but this is just what you'll have to get use to. There are a few ways to help control this to a small extent as shown through various posts on the board and elsewhere, but over-all your shit is 100% garunteed to be ripped by at least one other person.
it's what the industry is based on - getting rich fast, losing weight with no actual effort, using a cream to instantly take off 10 years of your life from your face, etc.. this also includes ripping your landing page because then they don't have to create anything (or most likely don't know how to).

everytin' be irie... just relax.

This just shows you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. No, i'm not new you douche bag.
