*This is going to be full of typos since im flying through this at work...*
Oh I get it! You're implying that when we are making a decision based on a limited amount of information we should always assume that there is WAY more info that we dont know about and that what we do know is probably intentionally misleading. Therefore we should completely disregard whatever information is available. Nice! +rep 111!!!11!!!!!1 Logikz FTMFW!!!1!!!111!
And get the facts straight at least:
1) Churchill drank waaaaayyyyy more than a quart a day. When he was visiting the Whitehouse during the war he would typically finish a quart of brandy before lunch! Despite the fact that he was in some state of inebriation for most of the 1930's/40's he was also one of the most gifted politicians of the 20th century and one of the greatest orators of all time IMHO. Oh, and he also chain smoked in addition to his prolific drinking...you left that out.
2) According to the records kept by his medical staff Hilter was taking "vitamins" (amphetamines) from the mid 1930's until his death. While this allowed him to work tirelessly for hours/days on end many historians and senior members of the Reich attribute his abuse of amphetamines, and the side effects that resulted from such prodigious use, to making rash and calamitous tactical decisions which had very well may have lost Germany the war (thank GOD!).
Actually, I want to try my hand at this:
You have to decide who will be the next president of the United States of America. There are only two candidates and you must decide who will be the next leader of the free world...choose wisely.
Candidate A comes from a backwater hilly billy area in the South. He openly admits to smoking pot in college and was a frat boy. While in a position of power he turned a blind eye to the slaughter of millions of people and thousands were killed as a result of his actions. He was caught cheating on his wife and it was alleged that he had numerous other affairs.
Candidate B comes from a "blue-blooded" family of red-blooded Americans. His family is filled with decorated war hero's and he himself served in the military after graduating from one of, if not the most prestigious university in the world. He went on to attend HBS to get his MBA and ran several multi-million dollar businesses. He is a devout Christian and, by all accounts, a devoted husband and father.
Who do you pick to be president of the United States?
Candidate A is William Jefferson ("Bill") Clinton
Candidate B is George W. Bush
Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I bet I taught you a fucking lesson about judging people and making decisions.......!!!1!!!111!
I'll take B please.
