The summer of 1989 I bought Appetite & The Cult Sonic Temple on the same day. I fucking listened to those cassettes for 3 months straight. Some of the best hard rock of it's era. I was just starting to get serious about guitar then and I worked my ass off to learn as many of Slash's licks as I could. I was going into 9th grade after that summer and the Gun's were the shit that whole year and for several after.

Now they're just a bunch of whiney, drug addicted, thinking they're still bad ass, dick weeds. Slash is still cool, but Axl is a douche of all douches.
