With MagicTune u can make the screen as bright as u like.

Just got this couple of weeks ago and i'm very satisfied.

pretty epic ly2...I feel like I would be sitting too close to the monitors though? I have trouble with the single 28" I use every day, much less another 56" of screen

<double entendre>
ly2 doesn't have a problem taking in the extra 56 inches

I have 2 - 23" Samsung LED's and recently bought a 46" Samsung LED TV.

FUCKING LOVE EM.

Thinking about getting another Samsung LED for the office.

Did I mention the only brand of TV or Monitors I have purchased in the last... 8? years have been Samsung, haha.

I would try to get an LED monitor if you are concerned with eyestrain. LED monitors are better at controlling light levels so you can dim them in dark rooms and avoid the eyestrain of an ultra bright CCFL in a dark environment.

Viewsonic makes some pretty popular and afforable LED monitors. Can't go wrong with samsung either. I currently use a SynMaster710t (its probably close to 10 years old now) and it's continued to work well.
