4.4 Magnitude Quake hits Oklahoma

I don't think its wise to start comparing every earthquake and the damage it wields to what happened in Haiti... No comparison whatsoever, unless of course the conditions are similar, in which the rule of thumb for them was to construct their cities using dry cow shit as brick and mortar on muddy grounds. Where was Captain Obvious then??

Furthermore, it may be a safe bet to assume Haiti is going to be the next big buyer of edu leads of both students and teachers, specifically in their architect and engineering programs.
 


My mother believe these earthquakes prove that the endtimes and the "rapture" is about to happen....She's been trying to convert me EVEN MORE!

What I don't understand is why a "Loving" god would let 200,000 people die in an earthquake...

oh yeah... They sold their souls to the devil 300 years ago. That would PISS ME RIGHT OFF too if I was the God of the universe....
 
Scary earthquake this morning in mid-southern Taiwan.

Started off with a loud boom, woke my lazy ass right up. Then after a short period of silence, all hell broke loose. It was only 6.4 but the center was not far away.

I hate being in my apartment when the bigger ones hit since I'm on the seventh floor. This was definitely one of the scarier shakers for me, maybe because I was still half asleep and didn't really have my bearings straight before it hit. Not exactly my preferred alarm clock.

We had about 20-30 smaller ones of 4-5 magnitude hitting throughout the day.
