4 Things an Ethical Internet Marketer Can Learn from Spammers

Total Newb question but I have to ask it... Where do guys get good lists from and what do they typically cost? I saw some as high as $200/thousand but they claim to be highly targeted (Financial Niche)....

I am looking to send out 200k-500k per day but I am not sure where to buy the lists....

Welcome to the forum :)

Ask and ye shall receive: Html Spider - Crawl Anything.

Exerpt: "An email extractor is able to gather email addresses from all over the web and compile them into files for later use. With an email extractor tool it understands only to extract email addresses only and leave the rest of the information. Also, with email extractors you can have the names and emails grabbed and compiled. This is a great tool to have for marketing of products, sales, and creating customer sale leads. No more copying and pasting required any longer. Fewer mistakes and errors as well. Just a few simple clicks and your done."

Or just download a script from here.

Yeah lol, some of this stuff was obvious, but it's interesting to see some non-spammers and non wickedfire types coming up with the same key points that are stressed on here all day long.

It all seems obvious to us, but to Copy Bloggers audience... some of this is news. The content may not be important to everyone on here, but the fact that other people are writing about it may be important to you...

Nah it's cool bro. I actually learned some things from those stats. However the 1 in 1,000,000 conversion rate is total BS. Maybe if you're pushing Viagra or something off CD-ROMs, etc. where you have to mail 1,000,000 total names just to get 10,000 to deliver, but that's so far out of the ballpark it's not funny. Mailing 1mm people ain't as easy as it used to be, so anyone making 1 sale per 1mm people best be pushing a rebill for $2.99 s/h and a $1999 fine-print fee after 8 days with the business phones turned off.

It goes without saying for mailers that the list is where the cabbage is but I was interested to see that copyblogger noted that too. A lot of the "super affiliate" blogs are talking more and more about lists. Lists definitely have a "flavor of the week" feel to them, if '06 - '09 was about rebills maybe '10-'12 will be about lists.

great read - gonna try email marketing now

anyone got a copy of the $19.99 billion e-mail cd?

Absolutely... you guys with your LPs are in a position to collect/capture data and monetization of that data is an exciting new revenue stream.
