It is time for my birthday challenge once again! :music06:

I have my best months of the year, every year around my birthday challenge (even last year without meeting my goals, the extra attention showed results). Well, 49 days until I turn 49 begins on Friday the 13th. I will turn it into the lucky day I committed to challenging myself to accomplish the goals I set for myself.

So here I go again and hope I'll have some company setting some goals to accomplish by my birthday on April 2, 2009.

For those who are going to join me, please post your goals of what you want to accomplish in 49 days here by Friday. (If you come into the challenge late, subtract the days that you missed, and that is the number of days to finish with the challenge. Then rename your challenge, and finish the challenge with the rest of us.)

On my birthday everyone should post the goals met and the results. OK....

Ready........set........GOals!

Oh shit...

I never met my goals I set in your bday challenges.

But will participate for sure!

Ya sure. Goals are a good thing to have. Actually I was working one some new things and wanted to get some measurable ways to track them.

So mine will involve:
1) Making a tracking system for how much Internetz Power I have
2) Tracking conversions on all sites
3) Getting as many pages as possible indexed.
4) Gaining in total uniques a month
5) Just to be weird - Losing another inch on my beer belly
6) Running in or be scheduled to run a 10k and be ready for it.

3) Getting as many pages as possible indexed.

That should be easy, it's tough to fail when you don't set benchmarks.

I like to keep my goal simple: complete 1 site in 1 week ... sounds easy enough.

After my hacking is finished, I'll spend a week or 2 in alpha testing with existing clients and then unleash it here at WF. I think you fuckers will digg this one.

I'll even Digg it

I'll beta test your alpha test, if you pre-release my new-release, test-plan my big plan, and you'll wound up ground up.

My goals are..

1. 2 moderately successful campaigns (25% ROI)
2. Drink a bit less beer when I get home from work
3. Clean my fleshlight - I'm on my 20th day of re-use
4. Have 300 posts on wickedfire that are slightly above mediocre

OK.. so here are my goals then:

- Have 2 more PHPbay sites up and running, at least 10 articles (the written kind) on each.
- Finish another article series on the blind ape (I know this sounds lame, but this involves PHP code and my first WP plugin ever...yay!)
- Belly inches..hmmm... I could... naaaah
- Add more articles (the "to buy" kind) to my little jewel of a site and add pics/photos to some pages
- Build a cheap lightbox (photography)

Ok I will go more measurable:

So mine will involve:
1) Making a tracking system for how much Internetz Power I have, tracking sheets for all sites in xls or csv format, inputted automatically to a main stat program
2) Tracking conversions on all sites, not involving the big G
3) Getting as many pages as possible indexed. 1000 more pages indexed
4) Gaining in total uniques a month, 61,250 more uniques on new sites or more than what is happening now.
5) Just to be weird - Losing another inch on my beer belly
6) Running in or be scheduled to run a 10k and be ready for it.[/quote]

sure im game, here are some of my goals.

1) Get better at PhP and write my first site with it
2) Start making a network of sites for SEO purposes (5 sites min) i know thats not a lot for some people.
3) Save some extra money for a new computer, desk, and t.v. stand

I know these are not very, big goals, but they are ones that i need to start kicking ass on. I've been lazy as hell lately, and if i get them done i will be very happy.
