Anime isn't cheap, neither is the merchandise and both sell very well in North America. Granted, piracy and counterfeits plague the industry but buyers of Japanese pop culture are very loyal and will purchase the Blu-ray/dvd combo disk or an expensive figurine of their favorite anime/manga.

Crunchyroll is a Netflix-like service catering to the same people that visit 4chan and their profitable, plus vc-backed.

I'd say there are a few things you could sell to them...
