Could it not be possible that the kids teacher was pro-gun and had the kid write it to 'raise awareness'? Could it not be possible that the teacher could have the foresight to predict your ever so original reaction?

Also, I'm curious: What is the difference between 'raising awareness' and bitching? Does one include action?
