So a few days after I started a campaign in YSM, I got my quality index which happens to be 5 bars and I'm wondering why I'm still paying an average of 42 cents per click. Shouldn't my cost per click drop for having such a high QI?

its not supposed to have anything to do with your website. Im not sure if i believe that though, because i ve had 10% ctr and still 3 bars.

Yea, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with your website.

If you had a 10% ctr with only 3 bars, I'm guessing that means that your competitors had a much higher ctr for the keywords you were using.

I do know that when I deleted some non-performing keywords, my bars went up to 5. It didn't seem to lower my bids any. Dunno.
