It's fucked up that it is now so routine for DMX to get locked up for years at a time it doesn't even make the news.
The weird thing about DMX is how he treats his life. I mean, the dude COULD have been had moniez, but he uses what he gets in weird ways.
Half of it is cool, and half of it not so. I've been to his house out here in Phoenix, and it's not nearly as nice as you would assume. I'm talking like a small 4 bedroom 1 story home on maybe 2 or 3 acres, with a few somewhat raggedy cars (for a rapper) parked in the dirt front yard.
He does have a knack for riding quads everywhere, including the gas stations and bars near his house. You can usually find him at Conolly's bar on Carefree Hwy. when he is home and not locked up. So he's cool in that he'll go out and be around normal people, but then he has to go and get into tons of trouble with drugs and dog fighting rings and the sheriff just keeps busting his ass over and over again.
A weird guy indeed.
