Oy vey, that's a deep topic that.

I stand mostly with Guerilla on this in that if we spread the good word of Voluntaryism to enough people that within two or three lifetimes we may have a chance at a (relatively) peaceful transition from government to anarchy.

Sure, no government is going to let go of the reins easily, but the way technology is going now, and assuming we are able to keep the net uncensored, the fact is we could fill up a large percentage of the country with people that prefer the Anarcho-Capitalist vision to what they've got and of then start to effect some real change with fewer bullets flying than you might guess.

My big problem with this is I don't want to work hard all my life at it just so that other peoples' grandkids may get the rewards of my efforts. Might as well put in time to help out someone in an alternate dimension.

The "bill" that this is taking about didn't even get signed into law. This isn't the "ObamaCare" law. This is an early version of what lead to HR 3590, which is the ObamaCare law. So the entire conspiracy theory is based on a law that doesn't even exist.

So you nuked your body, what about the #1 tracking device you use? Your damn phone will tell the :costumed-smiley-013gov way more than some chip buried under your skin. The :alert:wide spread use of cell phones has and will do far more damage than any implanted chip could ever dream of. Oh you use burner phones? Good luck with that when they start back tracking the calls of your acquaintances. Financial transactions are gaining popularity by the minute over mobile devices. The next big push will be your medical. The more dependent we become of our tracking devices the more control Big Brother has over its population.

Phones are a more serious tracking threat, it's true... But they can be turned off until you need them or even left at home. Since none of us can disagree with having the ABILITY to be tracked, such as a map navigation program (google maps), then we have to simply live with the downside that requires...

I do see a day when they start selling cell phones that are Guaranteed untrackable by anyone when the gps is turned off. As it is now they are required by law to stay trackable for 911 calls' sake. (Oh yeah and the feds, too. No biggie.)

Medical implantations have already started though; seniles need them to be tracked around hospitals. It's only a matter of time until the next phase of people accept them: All non-libertarians with medial issues. Considering the size of the Boomer generation that'll be a huge jump, perhaps up to 100 million people(!) and as I understand it, the marketing has already started for this phase. Doctors will carry out the rest.

Still, until the day comes when those are forced in ppl who don't want them, no one's going to raise an alarm. It's like watching a car wreck in super-slow-motion. Just sad.
