Seems DT is losing a few of its high-profile networks. Including copeac, I know personally of 3 that are in various stages of building-out their own infrastructure.
Good to see it. Because tracking isn't a technologically difficult problem. Uptime/SLA and scalability certainly are, though. And things like T202 and Bevo are in a completely different galaxy because of just that. Not knocking those products, they serve their niche, but they're just not walking a tightrope the way a network tracker is.
Suffice to say if your tracker is vanilla PHP + PGSQL, your pubs and advertisers are fucked. I've got no technical info re: Copeac so this isn't directed at anybody. But yeah, PHP and PGSQL/MySQL is a fine king-pin but without supporting infrastructure (queues, caches, nosql, etc) you're doomed.
