I'm a Philosophical Taoist and given the nature of my life philosophy every now and then I tend to write something FAR too deep for a Facebook Status update so I figured I'd share it here since out of 1,300 friends only three appreciated it:
----------------------
The difference between the average person and the extraordinary person is that one believes in the common constraints accepted by average people while the other person looks at the people who shape existence and slowly begins to understand that nothing is too difficult, too out of the question, or too grandiose to achieve...

And once they begin to understand they no longer have to concern themselves with failure--they're bound by the volition of their dreams to attempt the unthinkable, dream of the unknowable, and do the impossible.

We are not limited by our happenstance, but by our imaginations. I believe this is the mystery of human life.

Just trying to give back what little understanding to you guys... I've learned much here and appreciate chance to share ideas.

It was good up until "happenstance" ;)

My favorite is this quote someone has as their sig here... simple and important.

"The price of inaction is far greater than the cost of making a mistake." - Meister Eckhart, 13th-century theologian.

Wait, are you implying that he is simply pretentiously restating something that has been said hundreds of thousands of times over before?

I enjoyed that. Cheers.

I'm more into Osho. Any preacher who says money doesn't matter, sex is happiness, but has a fleet of a couple of dozen Rolls Royces and wears nothing but gold Rolexs is ok by me.

Considering one quote is about expanding your idea of what's possible and the other is about the price of inaction I recommend you sir

I don't know much about Eckhart, but I wish I had that quote swimming in my brain every time I've been too scared or uncomfortable to start something.

You just showed your true deep intellectual I'm-in-peace-with-universe self.

You guys seem to be missing the point of this post entirely. I don't give two flying shiznits if you think I'm the most vain, unintelligible person on the Internet.

The point is that as human beings we do not have to limit our thinking and once we can accept that we are the masters of our own personal Universe the world becomes a wondrous place.

Kind of like the first time a chess player learns that a sacrifice can be a good thing or the first time you heard of someone making a million dollars a day selling a digital product.

Sometimes we can take the skills we already have and simply apply them in ways we haven't imagined and make hundreds of thousands more than before.

That's the point. Not who thinks they're a guru. Being a Taoist doesn't mean that think I'm deeper than anyone. Just that I tend to overly describe the obvious. :jester:

Soup is trying to tell us how cold he thinks the water is.

I'm more of a Zen Buddhist. I can't tell you how cold the water is; you have to see for yourself.

This will Inspire you - Will's Wisdom

This is not Evil Marketing it's Search Marketing isn't it, although you can't really tell. For the record, there are no ulterior, affiliate link
reasons for telling you about this Video. http:// dot will dot ez1ceo dot com

I'll let Will Smith speak for himself. I know you'll love it or I wouldn't risk getting whatever it is you're going to do if I've made horrible
mistakes worthy of an ass-whoppin today.

Since everyone seems to have a boob-thing going on, I was just wondering if anyone ever registered their Bra size.
Well, I did for some reason I can't even remember now. There's no website yet except the beginnings of a Boonex Community.
dub dub dub dot 38fff dot com I guess I don't need the icon. I've got the domain instead.

BTW: This place makes the Warrior Forum seem like a Kindergarten Playground on a slow day...scary.
