Ok so I'll try to make it not a sap story... lol

I finally quit my job (doctor agreed) and got a bunch of meds for stress... Problem is, stress was coming from regular work... and trying to get this shit straight (AM)...

So now, no more job, I can concentrate my time on my upcoming project, and relax... not have to worry about bullshit... (Wont really need the meds :xomunch: )

I know I'm in this till I'm rich (conceited as it may sound) :rasta:

This is a good point in my life... I guess I just wanted to share it with you.

Yep, after finishing uni, I had a job for 6 months and then quit and now doing Adsense, and AM. And, man I always get a laugh when my family and friends ask me how I can afford to live the way I do without having a job! I have a feeling some of them are starting to get a little suspicious :D

LOL... I think I'm going to get shirts made... "Just because I work from home doesn't mean I don't work!"

you're not fucking kidding. My friends want to go out sometimes and stay out til 2. I say I can't because I have work. They all start laughing. Then I remind them that I make more than them. Then they all STFU.

Good luck on your own, but as Ben said... it's just as, if not more, stressful than working for an employer. You have nobody to depend on but yourself.

Working for yourself can be just as stressful.
+1

If you're looking to avoid stress, don't you think a calm 9 to 5 might be better than not knowing if you'll pull the mortgage on a new campaign?

AM really works when you've got a few months of safety net so that you can test out campaigns and lose some money to grow your traffic.

Thats the thing, I'm only 21 and I was with my last job for 2 years... I dont have a mortgage or any other bullshit to work with.

Once I sat down the family and showed them some of my previous projects (that only allowed me 4-5 hours per week worth of work due to my other job) they were more than happy to help me out.

Got accommodations set up (rent free) for the next 4-5 months.

I think if I can really just set aside the time I was using at work (40-65hrs/week) and concentrate that into this... mmm sounds good to me.

I'm just greatful I stumbled on this early in my life where there is a Lifeline to get while I nurture this thing.

Thanks to all for the well wishes - I dont know if John's comment was directed at me...
But fuck you too buddy :rasta:
