Anyone been having tracking issues with this offer since the weekend? Conversions completely stopped recording a few hours back. Heard the advertiser is having merchant issues, but their offers were never pulled on the network I'm working with until now.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a similarly converting offer for international traffic (CA, UK and AU primarily).

Oh fuck, I actually contacted my affiliate manager a few hours ago regarding testing the offer, since I noticed that my conversion rate has been shit for the past 3 days. I went from a $4 EPC on Friday, to a $1.50 EPC today, and a $2.50 EPC on the weekend.

Glad to hear it's not only me.

f you are running any of the following 7 campaigns, please be advised to TEMPORARILY pause your traffic until further notice. The advertiser is diligently working to resolve a problem with their merchant account. You will receive notification when to resume traffic. We are told it should be by the end of business today.
So pause till 5pm

Hey all, I just spoke to Geofferson from Advaliant. He said they're redirecting Acai burn to another offer "Acai Pure" while Just think fixes acaiburn. He doesn't know how long it'll be but is hoping within a few days or the week.

Just an update.

Ah, I better get in touch with Geofferson about that Acai Pure offer then. He's a nice guy; been meaning to switch my traffic over to Advaliant.

As a side note, I would look over your stats starting Friday if you've been promoting this offer. Not sure if it was specific to me, but I started running into problems then. Ask for credits accordingly.

Apparently JTM lost their merchant account... which means all their offers are going down for a while!

yeah thats what i expected the minute all their offers went down. hopefully they'll be back up soon-ish. they got some good campaigns.

anyone who loses a merch acct is doing scammy shit. That means they had a VERY high chargeback to valid charge ratio..

They were heavy cross sell and auto upsell guys. That's a pretty shady tactic that will usually make merchant accounts blow up. Because most of the time the user doesn't even know the 2nd or 3rd offer is there that they're signing up to when they signup.

Hey Smaxor,

Is there any way networks can let us know that kind of stuff. Most of the time were not going to go through the whole checkout process and may miss some of the more shady things that happen once the CC is entered.

You should always go through the checkout of the offer you're promoting. The 2nd or 3rd sales pages can make huge differences on conversion rates. You need to know about the product you're promoting and you should read the terms. Even the terms link in the footer will typically disclose the up/cross sell.

I 2nd majorbta's suggestion!

Tell the advertiser that you'll be pushing through a test lead, use an extra credit card you have kicking around, then cancel after you've gone through the path.

Only do this if you let the advertiser know so they can give you a refund and remove you from any re-marketing efforts.

As far as predicting something like this, don't count on merchant accounts giving you a week's notice.
