Screw that offer. DONT TRUST THAT ADVERTISER. They owe me more than 50K and trying to claim fraud. Of course, this happened when traffic from us started to reduce. Why is it always fraud on the last bill?

Just to give you some facts on this advertiser:

They tried to claim a high incidence of fraud, but I think they were hoping we were sending the offer from non compliant traffic. The fact was we had 90+% of the conversions had redirect links from Web Based mail (hotmail/aol/yahoo/etc.). Too bad we were running their offer direct only from guys we knew personally. They couldn't really provide any proof beyond a small percentage of gift card use (hello. its part of the business).

Even if we assumed the loss ratio they quoted, I basically bought the advertiser a house. If the advertiser was having payment issues or problems, it was due to their inexperience. Don't tell me I run traffic for 3 months and suddenly there are huge issues around traffic quality on the last bill.

Btw, check out their traffic on quantcast/compete, you can see when they did good traffic and it was all us. Once we stopped, they were basically worthless.

Even funnier is that the offer went down during a long weekend. I caught it and basically had to have it fixed for the advertiser by their ASP service (they use a 3rd party to host their offer). The advertiser wasn't even aware that their offer had broken. Sad.

So unless you want your last check to be held for "fraud", I would avoid this advertiser like the plague.

We've been running this offer consistently for about a week with no issues.

You should do what you want, but I gave you fair warning. It is possible they just couldn't handle our volume and ran into cash flow issues so they invented the fraud issue. But remember we ran the offer fine for over a couple of months and only had issues during the last month.

That's why were smart and get guys like this to pay us weekly.
