I was looking at https://bit-pay.com/ or similar.

I'm close to getting a game up on the Google Play store, and was thinking of offering an alternative download in exchange for bitcoins from a site. I'd watermark the bitcoin version somewhere in a menu, so if/when it's torrented I can at least see where it originated.

I was wondering if there were any simple ways non technical people could earn bitcoins, like surveys or something, that I could refer them to from my site if they didn't have any, so they could "earn" the game instead of buying it. (it's a childrens game, anything they can do in 5 min to earn 0.25 bitcoins legitimately?)

The bitcoin crowd looks a little rough, however. Lots of torrent offers in exchange for bitcoins, I wonder if promoting an offer of accepting bitcoins just puts your digital product on the fast lane to torrent-land, without bringing a readily available customer base(average person doesn't have bitcoins, while lots of thai/asians and shitheads do).

You sure it's a game, not a video or something?

Last I checked....

edit:: Why won't these videos embed?

Haven't wrapped up the audio yet. I'm looking to find a used mic that records HQ sound then get my gf and her niece to do the peppy sound effects. In the stable scene you can load information about the animals, I was going to have the name in English and Spanish to teach kids each animal in both languages while showing English text. Maybe it'll help some Spanish kids associate animals with English version.

The taming level you wander around a pasture and if you stand close enough to an animal you can try to tame it by touching it on the screen. If you succeed it'll follow you around. If you take it back to the stable the farmer gives you a prize and takes it away. You raise your taming skill a little for failing, and a lot for succeeding. I had a minimum skill level for some animals but removed it since this is likely for toddlers. So it just gives a 3/5 chance at success. (random number 1-5, if number <= 3 {success} else, fail)

If Bit-Pay doesn't work for you, try CoinDL.com. MTGOX has a merchant api too. But I highly recommend BitPay and their embedded purchase button or their API.

Yea it seems to be a bad idea. Screw it. At first it seemed interesting but seems to just be a haven for malware and shit from the sites I checked out at least. Not opposed to the currency any more than putting money in stocks, but it seems to just be where all the people who can't get paypal accounts flock to.
