Accepted a $30K Offer for Main Money Maker, Now What?

Man, it's pretty shitty to build a site for the same keyword you just sold a site for for $30k, non-compete or not.

And build up more sites, you can afford writers/VAs.

I would agree with that, the reason I ask is, since this is an industry that presumably OP knows fairly well, it makes sense to find a related (though not directly competitive) angle that leverages what he's already learned in the field.

Though I would never buy a site for 30k without having the seller sign at least a basic NCA, he must have thought it wasn't much of a risk.

If it's a blog (or a type of site that isn't unique), I'd say fuck that and start another one up going after the same keyword.

You'd be stupid not to capitalize on the fact that you know exactly what it takes to get a site ranking for those keywords.

Congrats Nohel! Glad it worked out.

This time, AT LEAST start with an aged, PR domain. You don't necessarily need to continue their specific project, but at least make it easier for SEO.

Every time I start a project, I find an even cooler "related" term to go after after I start digging in. Hopefully you've got something like that.
