I guess that's the real question here though... Does this have a chance of being Productive for team freedom?
Since he knows from last year (very well) that he can't get any favorable press marching on the whitehouse, he must have some twist on the idea for this year... I don't know what... it could be something like starting a fight, or it could be something totally different, like making a challenge there with some kind of ultimatum.
Either way, I think his strategy is flawed if for no other reason than he'll be giving the bad guys control over when, where, and how to start & finish any fight that they might want.
There are dozen's of uneventful peaceful armed protest's across the country every year. They only way this goes south is if provocateurs show up on scene. This really is not that big a deal. If a million guys show up it will become a big deal. But more than likely what will happen is the permits wont get issued and they will make them out to be quacks out breaking the law. The media will demonize and belittle the effort (if they cover it at all)
No matter what happens, not a single round will be fired.
It gives you more choices and a higher standard of living. Healthcare costs take a toll on one's peace of mind. Nothing in America is getting cheaper and social safety net programs are underfunded and overworked. The polical establishment, for example, wants to grant amnesty to millions of illiegals even as local governments are strapped for cash. Governments all around the world are embracing austerity. Either get richer or fall between the cracks.
Some of us here have tried that already.
Skipping the country, even for a more luxurious life elsewhere, isn't what the soul seeks.
...It'll keep me safer to stay out, I'll feel more free out here, and even healthcare is far better on the outside too... But it's a restless feeling of giving up on the world and all the good in it to accept this fate.
