Anyone use/tried Adbuyer?

Set up an account and daily budget but it ripped through my daily budget 3 times within 10 hours (i.e 3 credit card charges).

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Also, lowered the CPC after about an hour of running ads but it completely
ignored my new bids and kept charging my initial bids... WTF?!!!

Thanks for the replies guys. Jessica got back to me and said, "[FONT=Geneva, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial]It’s a risk with CPC campaigns with low budgets. You actually had a very high CTR so the budget was used more quickly than the Right Media system expected. We can lower your CPC. Alternatively, you can do a CPM campaign.

Sorry for the inconvenience."

Well, at least I know my ad is good for getting clicks... now where's them sales? :)

On a side-note: how is the quality of this traffic for those of you who have used them. Do they have any kind of issues w/ (significant) click-fraud?

didn't have much click fraud issues... the RM Exchange usually is pretty tight on that speaking from my experience. only issue I had with Adbuyer was a lowish CTR, but it seems like you got that problem solved!

i hated the whole backend and it just was a sucky experience when i tried it so i never went back.

Their interphase sucked big time and they kept hitting my credit card over and over to the tune of $4k. The clicks were burnt up even though I put daily limits on my campaigns and the traffic was shittiest of the shit. They wouldn't give me a refund and the service was horrible.

Just my experience.

I thought I'd respond to this. I'm a co-founder of AdBuyer and we take customer feedback really seriously

1) Interface: We agree that our interface sucks and we're painfully aware of what needs to change. (We use our interface more than anyone). We're starting to deliver results. We've re-vamped the campaign signup process and have a full overhaul coming to the rest of the interface currently scheduled for August 15.

2) Traffic quality: The inventory available in the exchanges is definitely varied, from very high quality stuff from Yahoo and similar sites, to complete crap. We've gotten better at identifying the good stuff, and allow marketers to target the top X% of the placements we know about. This list is constantly updated & we're releasing custom versions for a number of verticals. We can't guarantee success, but we're making it much easier to avoid the crap.

Bottom line: While lots of people have had good experiences, we feel terribly if you've had a bad experience, and are listening to our customers to figure out how we continue to evolve the service. You can always reach out directly if you have issues.

Best,

Tim

I just signed up with them yesterday.

Yes the interface is bad but my rep Jessica has been great on communications.

Tim - thats a nice way to do things. Im sure the rest of the members agree that its great when ad networks come here and speak up. + rep
