Anyone else running adcenter and having issues with your bids vs your actual click cost? We are testing a new campaign and somewhat getting hosed. We started bidding high for the niche and lowered the bids but are still consistently paying 3 x our current bid.

Is their a campaign level bid that we are overlooking?

Contact them. I was showing up for keywords in my negative list last month. Shot over an email, they fixed it and credited my account. Turns out the keywords in my negative list were converting so I essentially got free clicks/conversions. It takes them about 24 hours to respond and assign you a rep but they'll take care of it.

Are you using demo targetting with a + to %?

Vinny, i think you hit it. Bids stay accurate until you drop them in Adcenter. My guess is that they somehow remain high on the yahoo side. If you enter your bids initially where you want them you'll end up being fine. Such a mess.

Will, no demo targeting, actually none aside from geo US.

Their bots constantly click your ads which is one thing I hate. Skews your stats especially when direct linking.

Contact them ASAP, that's real money you playing with there boy...and also I have noticed that when you are changing bids in bulk...the spend and Avg. CPC stats change...weird. Maybe that's what you are seeing?

They're pretty responsive about refunding money for going overbudget. Not too sure about the CPC changes.

But my campaigns are finally getting more traffic. I'm going to wait till they get their shit straight before I make some mega changes.
