Alright, it's 4:28AM Christmas Eve... err Christmas Day. I made a post earlier in http://www.wickedfire.com/members/chrislingle.htmlChrislingle's "Shall we make money kids" thread and I know I just said that I will create websites and blah blah, and do it right this time. But... I found a coupon code, on these forums, good for $200 on Adcenter. Free money really excites me, so I just had to put it to use immediately. Hence, I'm once again linking directly to the merchant. (One thing I said I learned not to do) Although, this time I have learned from my mistakes partially, in that, I am using solely buy keywords. Oh yeah, and since it's free money I ramped up the bids to position 1. (Which probably pushes it to a loss, but you can't lose free money :) )

Using Chris' Adwords Profitability Calculator, with my own slight modifications of course, my conversion for breakeven is 2.97% Which is >2 so that = bad. All I have to do is lower my average CPC 30 cents to get below 2% and push me into the green, but that's not fun.

Really what I'm looking for here is quick results, mainly for testing purposes and maybe a slight booster for personal morale reasons. (All on MSN tab :D )

I guess my question is... it's Christmas today and it'll probably be useless to advertise today, agreed? I think it will be so I set it to start on the 26th. So I guess my real question is, is the day after Christmas also a useless day to advertise on?

In addition, I know you'll hate this question but, Adcenter is predicting 135 monthly clicks for my keywords. Predicted to be No. 1 for all of seven keywords. And... and this is the one, Adcenter predicts, or assumes rather, that the CTR will be 14.72%. 14.72%?! Is that because it will be No.1? I know people hate answering questions involving estimates, but are these numbers even remotely feasible?

Yes, the ad is targeted, with keywords in title and all good to go.

Thanks for dealing with me

You've gotta be kidding me! 10 minutes and no reply! Come on, you guys are suppose to NEVER sleep, it's only Christmas morning!! Seriously though, I just thought it proper to add in Merry Christmas!!!!! So.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

If you want to test things, wait till the end of the holidays! Start promoting stuff at the beginning of January I would say. I don't think it's a great time now to test things as you said... If you really can't wait, please go ahead promoting your sites or whatever through Adcenter otherwise sit back, relax and enjoy your holidays! :rasta:

Christmas is almost over now, but it was my busiest day ever for affiliate sales, by about 60% over my next best day, which was Christmas Eve, which was about 40% better than my previous best day.
