Sweet - Cost up by 30%, conversions down by 10%.

And to boot - we lost 90% of our impressions near the beginning of the month on a campaign that's been running for 2 years.

Anyone else experience a huge drop in impressions? AdCenter rep says to "delete inactive keywords" - problem is these same keywords were very, very active for the last 2 years.

Anyone aware of a quality update or anything? There's actually less competition than in Yahoo because the multi-serving is more under control, but wtfffffff.

Oh it's most certainly a result of the ysm/adcenter merge.

The problem is, I can't get position over people who I know I'm outbidding substantially. Prior to the transition, if I was bidding .60 I was paying .30 - now I'm bidding .60 and paying .54, etc... with less competition. It's all fucked up.

Yeah I also have a campaign that has been running flawlessly for 3yrs on YSM. Its totally fucked on adcenter, it doesn't fall into their new guidelines, they don't care about past CTR or Quality, click costs have doubled. Its fucked.

I think we all just get to move on at this point. Its been a good 3yrs but this thing has just been killed.

I've been on the phone with the AdCenter reps a few times over the last month and a half. Gotta love how they all are required to say "please remember, we now have 33% market share"

Great... terrific for them. Higher bids for us ...

Click cost doubled? Well I got everything disapproved. Not useful content, not relevant, not this not that. Nazis

AdCenter is just as fickle and unpredictable as Google... FUCK, I was dreading this day.

I knew I would never fully understand AdCenter one day in fall of 08 when one of our acai flogs suddenly went from spending a few hundy a day on the content network, to spending over $5k in one day, all on the fucking term "diet tips" at an astounding conversion rate.... at $0.30 per click. Been trying to repeat that with AdCenter ever since, but there was no rhyme or reason to any of it that I could assemble.

AdCenter is definitely a challenge, compared to google click costs 3x and conversions are 2x, not very good. I get few impressions on their content network along with zero conversions. There 'microsoft adcenter desktop' tool while ok is definitely no match for google adwords editor.

But working google half the time i'm like on pins and needles waiting for them to just jack you because they can..

Well, it's good to see that I'm not the only one. Hopefully there are enough fucked campaigns from YSM => MSN that they have to address the problem. Hopefully it fucks up some larger businesses too.

But food for thought... I see A LOT of brand advertisers that use Yahoo that DO NOT use AdCenter - If those big accounts don't transition smoothly, I bet we see a pushback on the date.

Noticed the exact same thing as op
Avg pos was < 2.0 for about half a year for my campaign and I suddenly stopped getting impression. Trying to resolve this with my rep currently .. they've suggested to pause inactive keywords and even offered to write me some ads for higher relevancy

I still have all my shit running on YSM... it is going smooth.

Waiting till those fuckers show up on my at my house and make me move it over.

Adcenter is a fucking joke, worse than facebook IMO. No clue why they didn't just use YSM such a better platform.

The one thing I like at Adcenter it's much easier to put 100k+ keywords in campaigns.

YSM's 500 kw limit per submission was eating away my soul. Importing never worked anyway.

Yup, add me to the list of people seeing totally fucked up numbers on a 2 year old $250k /month YSM campaign being transitioned to Shitcenter.
