Hey I was looking to add some adsense to a blog we have set up on wordpress and can't see how to do it. I can add the code into a post but it doesn't pull any words when I tried. Any help is appreciated

You might have to wait a little while for the actual ads to show up.
AdSense Deluxe is a cool plugin by the way for automating the insertion of ads into WordPress posts.
Mainly, I put the ads into the actual templates.

I'm a noob too, and been following this thread.. Do you insert the google code into your stylesheet? or ??
I know jackshit about this, but got my Adsense account set up, and been trying to read the Google how-to's, but I'm lost..

I've had considerable trouble with ad relevence with Wordpress and Adsense. Sometimes its just fine, but other times we'll have a post with one or two off-topic keywords and bam, all of the ads are for something totally different.
Another big one has been ads showing up for "RSS." Its worth emailing Google and they can generally take care of it for you.
