Adshuffle Exchange Launched Today

Creative says: walmart.com
your destination: waImart.com
:action-smiley-052:

I didn't write that the destination must match the brand displayed in the creative; I wrote that the destination URL must match the brand displayed in the creative.

"Destination URL" means the URL that the ad points to (before any redirects happen). So if you're sending traffic to Walmart.com as an affiliate, you're not going to be able to have the traffic go through your own tracking software (unless you have P202 hosted on Walmart.com), and you're also not going to be able to use a link from an affiliate network in your ad, because that'll go somewhere else before redirecting to Walmart.com too.

It seems to me that that destination URL rule renders the Adshuffle Exchange pretty much useless for us affiliate marketers. Am I missing something?

Here's the exact wording:

If you manage multiple product offers:
    • Our inventory partners i.e., Google AdX, Microsoft AdECN etc., require that placements run only one brand and one product, and all destination URLs must match the brand displayed in the creative.
o All creatives are reviewed before going live on the exchange.
o You will be alerted in the AdShuffle Exchange if creatives are rejected.

It's pretty simple... if you must use it for an affiliate offer, use it with their lowest quality traffic, and hope for the best... but then you'll probably be paying more than going direct yourself.

It's obvious you got the same email from Elizabeth that I did... why don't you give her a call?

...how are you planning to get around that rule?
