Adwiords interface - Idiot question

I have several deleted campaigns in my adwords account but they're still displayed, and are marked as Deleted in the "current status" column
how the hell can I remove them?
It's useless to have them there just to create mess with the paused and running campaigns
some of them have been Deleted for more than 1 year probably...

On my interface there's a box to the upper right of the area where the campaigns are displayed. It defaults to "show all campaigns" or something similar. Change it to something like "show only active" (can't recall the exact text).
