on Day 5, nothing. I noticed in the T&C that image ads will only run if they are considered "Family Safe". I am not sure what there stance on dating is for that.

My "Pots and Pans" ad is not doing anything as of yet - tommorrow I will see if I can dig a little deeper with Google and report back.

My guess is that at some point they have tagged my account as running non safe family sites, and from that point on all images would go under review.

Alright, this is done on a new account that I created - plugged into my MCC. As I focus on dating, I have the following test up - all Content Network CPC Bid.

Image Ad with Sexy Girl, KnownDatingSite, dating words
Image Ad with No image suggestive text, KNownDatingSite, dating words
Image Ad that says "online dating", knownDatingSite, dating words
Image Ad that says "onlind Dating",KnownDatingSite, non dating words
Image of Pots and Pans, KitchenToolsSite, kitchen words

just passed the 24 hour mark and have no impressions.

same account I can start dating text ads to dating keywords or non dating keywords and have impressions within 60 minutes.

None of the ads are disapproved at this point - will report back tommorrow.

Yeah I've had dating ads disapproved because of the "Family Safe" reason. The ads were tame as can be, but turns out they didn't like the lander I was sending them to (and it was soooooooo perverted too...not)

Well,

I finally got impressions on one of my image ads. The big difference between the one campaign and all the others? BUDGET.

I put a MUCH larger budget on the campaign than I usually do, under the theory that they are reviewing ads in the que relative to the amount of money it would potentialy make them.

This was a dating ad, even though my "pots and pans" ad remains with 0 impressions (it had a much lower budget)

I go with sohan on this one (again). Weekends = Mon / Tue approvals..

any other working day except friday after Monday will get approved the next day. It never has really took me any longer than 3 days to get my ads disapproved / approved.

it is true that setting a high budget will increase your impressions...

Update: After 3 resubmits and now 4 weeks of waiting on these ads, I am still waiting for another review so I can get more than 0 impressions on my ads. This is a complete and utter joke.

The offers could be dead by the time I get any traffic to them, lol. I mean....seriously, WTF? Waiting 1 month to get a ready campaign off the ground is completely unacceptable.

Have you tried calling Google? A week ago I called them because I'd been waiting a week for approval, and the guy on the phone told me that he'd "escalate the ads to their specialist team", and then the next day he sent me an email to let me know they'd been approved. I think I'll be calling them again tomorrow because of some new ads that I'm waiting for approval on. Phonecalls shouldn't be necessary I agree, but at least it worked for me.

Yes I actually tried to call them, but I can't seem to get either the UK or the Ireland phone numbers to work (and my account is under Google Ireland). As soon as the numbers are dialled, I get a busy signal. :(

G UK is supposedly: 0845 358 0038
G Ireland is supposedly: 1890 94 3980

And yes, I did add the appropriate exit codes + country prefixes.

I wonder if there are any phone proxy services that you could use to call "as if" you were in the US.

Or you could sign up for one of those long distance calling services in the US where you dial a local US number first (which is free if you're local) and then enter in the long distance # you want to call and they connect you through. It's not a free service obviously, and in your case it would be a long distance call to the local US # to start, but depending how badly you want to speed up your ad approvals it could be worth it.

Just brainstorming...
