Hi,

I've setup a landingpage for a weight loss offer and created an adwords campaign. The Ad will direct the user to a subpage of the landingpage with an article about the product so he has to do an additional click to come to the page on mylandingpage where the offers are. I did it this way because google doesn't allow to promote free trials directly anymore without providing useful content to the user.

But there is something weird going on..the ad only gets impressions on the search but not on the content network

Did somebody make the same experience and can tell me whats going on?

The way I see it, you have two options in this situation:

1) Try to talk to Matt Cutts at Google. He's always willing to look into these things for people.

2) Provide us with your keywords, the landing page, ad copy ... etc and we'll get back to you with what you're doing wrong.

Adwords ads will run right away on google search and take a little while to get approved to run on content/partner search, and a little while longer after that to get going...maybe this is your issue if you only started the campaign recently? Also bear in mind google stats are not real time.

I can't believe The Google will fall for the ol' subpage game. Thats only gonna last so long.

The Google has changed their backend this past week. Please, PM me your login information and I will take a look for free. Good Luck bro
