Why does Adwords say "We were unable to authorize a payment on your credit card." when I just made payments a couple days ago with no problems? It's definitely not a problem with my credit limit/line.

Are your campaigns still running? That msg is often a cryptic way for Google to say that your account will no longer runs ads.

Yeah, Ive got the same problem my ads stopped running and my card started showing that error when I tried to use it with them, I emailed Google and was told I am banned.

I still owe them $13k but they dont seem to want to take it.

LOL! Yeah... make some short term cash... then purposely get your account banned and never have to pay the advertising cost... :zzwhip:

Backup Payment Methods

Google let's you add a backup payment method...if you have a secondary payment method, I recommend adding that if you rely on AdWords for a fair portion of your revenue.

Billing -> Billing Preferences -> half way down the page you will see the 'backup payment method' section...just add another payment method there.

Maybe its just me, but I'd rather NOT have my account banned or slapped and continue to make bank day after day.

I had this issue with Google as well. It took two to three weeks before it was resolved. The "google employees" that post on the help forums never have an answer for this either. I later found that my account was being reviewed by Google staff and my card started to work again. They never actually told me that my account was being reviewed, but after I got access again there were changes to my quality score rating, so I know that my account was simply being reviewed by them. Just keep trying it each day until it works. Again, it took two to thee weeks, so during the time my account was down with google, I was running my ads on Microsoft AdCenter (for Bing). You might want to give that a shot while you wait for Google to start working again.
