AdWords worth the trouble?

I just got Google slapped on a rebill offer I'm running (my ads stopped showing due to low quality score of my landing page). Is it worth the time and effort to stay in front of them by switching up domains or will I just get slapped even faster next time? (Took like 10 days this time.)

Sounds like most experienced affiliates steer clear of Google?

Well soon they'll ban your whole account then you get the pleasure of creating a whole new business entity and jugling vpn instances to logon.

If you want to play in the game, stay away from Google. If you don't believe me go ask your AM if anyone is making 10k/day with Adwords. They will say $%^% no! Only with Media Buys.

lol, i guess i just need to dig in and find some good networks to work with.

without asking anyone to give away their secret mojo (perish the thought!) are there any recommendations on good companies to work with for media buys?

Forget Adwords, invest in peas.

yeah, I'm sure the top half dozen mortgage lead generators aren't making any money spending a ton of money daily on adwords. Nor are those running insurance. Nor are those running legal lead gen, selling hot holiday items, etc etc etc.

My wife is desperately trying to buy our daughter a custom made doll for Xmas. They're about $200/pop and sell out within minutes of being updated on the site. Yeah I'm sure that stay at home mom who does use adwords to promote isn't making a dime, you know, given that some hand made doll really costs $200 to produce. (and at ~20/week listed and sold within 5 minutes you do the math).

I think he assumes the only things you can sell online are scams.

wait, hold the fuck up, are you telling me there is money to be made without flat out lying to people, charging their credit card for a piss poor product and a ton of unrelated shit, and moving my business to some country no one has ever heard of so they have no way to contact me or stop the charges?

Shit, next you are going to tell me that I don't need to profit only on the expense of other people's headaches and that maybe I should be thinking about a longer term viable business strategy.

Thank you for your esteemed opinion. I would have said the same, however you said it with conviction.

there's still tons of money to be made in software via PPC. some affiliates are getting nailed, but not most.

again, it falls back to the effort you put in.

added value. good content, throw up an e-book. have a blog.

i was an AM for guys making 20k+ a day via ppc, and all legit.

This is exactly what ive been thinking for a while now. Im so sick of the rebill bullshit

i prefer yahoo over google for ppc, they've always been easier to work with for me with better conversions

Your question should be phrased more or less "Is running rebills on Adwords worth the trouble". And the answer to this is no unless you have an account with high spend on it, and if thats the case, then its not worth the risk of losing your high spend account.

Affiliate marketing goes much further beyond rebills, its just rebills that gets all the attention. I have a campaign going on Google that i havent even touched for about 14 months now, never been slapped, constantly running and performing up to par. People buy more things online than just berries, teeth kits, and colon cleansers :)
