So, I've been playing around with affiliate marketing for half a year or so now with moderate success (xxx/month). My knowledge mainly lies in programming things (think scrapers etc) and to some degree in analyzing keywords etc.
Now I would like to take the next step and improve my skills in making a better converting website, picking the most promising niches, etc.

My question: would anyone be interested in being my mentor for a while. The way I pictured this would be that this mentor person would take me through his/her steps in setting up an affiliate website and I would devote my time and skills to follow those steps. At the end the website (and all of its income etc) would be the mentor's, basically I'm offering my time (and programming skills) in exchange for advice from a seasoned affiliate jedi.

Let me know if this is a crazy idea or shoot me a PM if you don't!

Cheers

for everyone who doesn't know, this is Stanley...hence the participation in this thread:

lol @ level+1 etc

fair enough: i'm pretty good at scraping, building dynamic websites (php), basic keyword/competition analysis and basic seo. Nothing too fancy but nothing too shabby either. This has gotten me to some reasonable success (at least the xxx/month is reasonable to me), but I think that I can get to 'level 2' a lot quicker with someone experienced (only been active in affiliate marketing for 6 months). I'm a rookie when it comes to picking the most promising niches, getting better conversion rates, picking the best offers, etc.
So, to answer your 2nd question: my endgoal is to get to a full-time income from affiliate marketing.

In return for the mentorship I will devote my time and skills to (hopefully) a profitable website that would be yours (I would be willing to bet that loads of people have some projects lying around collecting dust!) and who knows, the partnership might turn out to be a longtime one ;)
