Where I grew up it was called dealing with your shit like a man (not the youtube stuff). Afterwards, if someone wasn't too badly hurt, you would probably end up at the bar having a beer together.

15 went by twenty+ years ago.

If it's for money i.e. charity, that's different. If it's a difference in opinion (so to speak) then it should be sorted, and not with seven months of planning. JMO
