As an advertiser that works with hundreds of great affiliates (and being an affiliate as well), I wanted to ask some of the more experienced marketers if they typically take the extra effort to make sure a campaign/offer works?
Do you just run what your AM gives you? Do you ask questions about which creatives, ad copy, landing pages, etc work best in each channel (search, email, etc)?
Do you ask for the highest converting creatives and pages? For exclusive or customized creatives to optimize what you do?
If the answer is no, why not? As an advertiser, we want to give our affiliates all the tools they need to make $$$. If they make money, obviously we make money --- but we want to use our resources to make our affiliates successful.
A small percentage of our partners ask for these types of things, and was hoping for feedback on why? Our offers perform well for many partners, but it could always be better to make more money, or convert better, right?
