I tried Amazon myself. It's pretty hard to make a buck on them. One thing you might want to do is find out what what products they are not at the top of the page on and try to beat them out with some good back linking and SEO.
I was doing 5 figures a month with Amazon till I got G slapped. this is with landing page. for whateve reason it does not work on yahoo or bing. even amazon doesn't really advertise on yahoo for money kw's
