Americans and PPC

Hi, does anybody know why (it seems) literally at least 80% of the people doing PPC are American (USA+Canada)? I mean do a Google search for millionaire bloggers or anything related and almost all of them are American. I find it interesting because America has relatively good job opportunities but PPC is quite a seedy profession so I imagine that these American pubs who do well must be brutal gangsters, since there's so much competition.

Can any American tell me what the deal is? Is it just a consequence of living in a country where flossing is the cool thing to do? I'd really like to hear some stories about the "PPC scene" in USA... Is it considered a dream job over there? I'm not being racist or anything, it is just undeniable that most affiliate networks, regardless of where their affiliates run offers, are based in America.

Please advise.

So because most of the bloggers you found that brag about their income (which make up maybe .01% of actual successful affiliates) are in the US, that the US accounts for 80% of affiliates? Get real.

Because Americans have that winning combo of being both dumb and relatively rich. You can find either one in many places, but dumb people in most countries don't have money and rich people in other countries are not dumb. It's perfect for PPC I guess.
 
because the indians are still buying American-made PPC accounts. Getting approved with all their fancy SE0 talk.

Sarcasm or trolling aside, ppc works pretty well for things other than affiliate marking, and it works pretty well in other countries, too. Obvious statement is obvious I believe.
